Malachi, A Heart Dedicated to Giving
There are people who come to volunteer, and there are people who come to give their entire heart, Malachi is one of those people.
At every Lights of Orit Refreshment Evening, Malachi arrives with a warm smile and the red nose of the medical clown she proudly wears. But she brings far more than food or treatment. She brings love.
From the very beginning of the evening, she welcomes the soldiers with homemade dishes prepared with care and devotion. Every meal she serves contains an ingredient that cannot be bought anywhere, her enormous heart. Through the food she prepares, she gives the soldiers a feeling of home, warmth and family.
Later in the evening, she dedicates herself to caring for the soldiers with endless compassion. Through massage treatments, cupping therapy and a variety of therapeutic techniques, she helps ease pain, relax tired bodies and restore strength. Every soldier who meets her immediately feels the warmth, kindness and generosity that define her.
And of course, as with every special evening at Lights of Orit, Malachi's evening ends with music, dancing and shared smiles with the soldiers.
In her professional life, Malchi is also a dedicated therapist and massage practitioner who continually studies, develops her skills and expands her knowledge to provide the very best care to those who need her help.
Beyond all of this, Malchi serves as a medical clown in hospitals, bringing light, hope and smiles during some of the most difficult and sensitive moments in people's lives.
Malchi is a woman who gives of herself without limits, she nourishes the body, heals the spirit and warms the heart.
