"The evening of appreciation gave my unit a few hours that felt like life before the war. Music, hot food, a place to breathe. We needed it more than I can explain."

"Good morning everyone π I feel that I received so much positive energy from last night's event. It truly fills you with joy to see all the dedication and giving from everyone, and especially Orit, our leading force, who brings so much light to the group and, most importantly, to our brave soldiers πͺ. Thank you for allowing me to be part of this wonderful journey with you. πβ€οΈ"

"Good morning, I wanted to share that after the Arbel event, Gal and I met a female soldier who told us how much she had enjoyed the evening. She explained that she is vegetarian and that, at most military events, there is usually very little for her to eat because the food is mainly meat based. This time, however, she actually had to choose between several options. There were stuffed bourekas, sabich, stir fry, couscous, and other dishes prepared especially with everyone in mind. She told us how much she enjoyed the meal and that she left feeling completely satisfied. She said that at similar events she normally ends up eating a bread roll with a few salads because nobody has really considered the needs of vegetarian soldiers. This time, she felt included and cared for, because here, we thought about everyone. β€οΈ"

"It had been a very long time since we experienced an event with so many soldiers. Honestly, I had missed it. The soldiers kept coming over to the barbecue, thanking us again and again. Moments like these are an incredible privilege and make every effort worthwhile. π While I was standing at the grill, a young soldier approached me and said, βI can see that youβre truly doing this from the heart.β What do I know about giving blessings? Without a doubt, he made my evening even more than perfect. β€οΈ"
